Day 4 - Happy Easter to all!
Day 4 - Last night was our first night of the trip sleeping in the RV. We did well! Yeah! Even hooked up to power for the fist time. Learning how everything works is quite the experience! For breakfast, I prepared hashbrowns with cheese and an egg. I have to say, it was another successful meal! We are learning the things we would need, how to make things work smoothly, how long things take and what works best for us. It is a challenge - YAY! - A fun challenge!
We left Kearney around 9:15 am. This is definitely a town we want to visit again! There was a really cute Downtown with lots of shops, many historical sites and museums, and so much railroad history in the area! There just wasn't enough time to cover it all today.
What we did capture was 7 of the 10 Insta-Worthy Murals in Kearney (we actually got another that wasn't on this list). They are beautiful and all in the quaint Downtown square.
Then we headed out of town. We decided to stop for the day in Cheyenne. One reason was that we had already driven about 5 hours and we needed a bit of a stretch. But more importantly, we had a gift card for Texas Roadhouse! Thanks Julie and Charlie, dinner was delicious!
I wanted to go to church this evening. So, we went to Holy Trinity but there was not a service this evening. But it was nice just to have the time to pray and the church was beautiful!
We are calling it an early evening to catch up on journals and just some resting before the next leg of the trip.
One more addition for our son ;)

Thanks for the addition! It looks like you guys have seen some really cool places. It has to be fun driving through all the "fly over" states.
