Gauges Checked, Gas Tank Full...It;s time to head West!
We purchased our 2004 Roadtrek 210 Popular in the crazy Pandemic year 2020. It has been a dream of mine since I was 15 years old to travel around the country in a live-in-van...things weren't quite so "fancy" or equipped back then. So the purchase of Shelly, our Roadtrek, is the cumulation of a nearly life-long dream. But now it is time to remove it from the garage and hit the road! (In complete transparency, we did one short "trip" to Kansas to visit Rick's 93, at the time, year-old Dad. Didn't want to take any chances on bringing any unwanted germs along, so it was the perfect way for us to travel, especially with our daughter and twin grandchildren.)
2021 kept us home.
Now we are on our, technically, Maiden Voyage! We are beginning our trip from our home in Upper Michigan and ending in Sacramento before we head back. During the trip we plan to see some family, some beautiful sights, some hidden gems, make some new friends, and attend a daughter's wedding!
We will post as we go. But we are open to suggestions! Since we are so new to this whole RVing world, if you have ideas of places we should visit, sights we should see, definite camping areas we should choose, please reach out and let us know!

Good for you!! Sounds like fun times! This is my dream too. Want to spend many months just traveling and not be in a hurry to get to the next reserved hotel room. If I like it somewhere stay there for as long as I want.
ReplyDeleteSounds like so much fun, which daughter is getting married?
ReplyDeleteour Daughter Kate 😊
ReplyDeleteThat’s what we hope to do one day…just meander around the Country! Maybe after retirement 🤷♀️
